Danielle was born in New York city to parents involved with the arts. Her father was an architect who
painted. Her mother was an English teacher who wrote poetry. She is deeply grateful for the cultural
background they gave her.
Danielle graduated with a degree in Anthropology from State University of New York at Purchase and has
taken classes over the years at Oregon School of Arts and Crafts, Pacific Northwest College of Art, and
Community Colleges and with private instructors, including brush painting in China.
In 2007 Danielle began painting with oils and has been experimenting with different techniques and styles.
Besides painting, she loves dance and literature.
