Ines Epperson, art show and sale at Pomeroy House

An oil painting exhibit by Vancouver artist Ines Epperson is now underway at the Pomeroy House Gift Shop in Yacolt, WA. 20902 NE Lucia Falls Rd. (360)686-3537.  The exhibit will continue through October 5, 2008.  The show includes local landscapes, many painted in the "Plein Air" style on location.  Pomeroy House Gift Shop is open 10:00 to 5:00 Tuesday through Saturday, and 1:00 to 5:00 on Sundays.
 
Epperson has painted in all media for 40 years, and is now focusing on painting with oils.  One large 18x24 painting being shown at the Pomeroy House is entitled "The Milkmaid" and depicts a French milkmaid at work on her Normandy farm.  This painting is a throw back to Epperson's French roots and to her art studies in Paris.  Along with her painting career, Epperson has a second career as a church Interior Designer.  The subjects dear to her heart are landscapes, florals, French scenes, and religious subjects.
